A historian specializing in culinary history and traditions, Patrick Rambourg is a researcher, teacher and author. He helped advise UNESCO on the addition of the “gastronomic meal of the French” to the representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. He is a member of the French writers’ association La Société des gens de lettres and also the culinary history organisation l’Institut Européen d’Histoire et des Cultures de l’Alimentation.
